New Campaigns
« on: June 23, 2017, 09:58:07 AM »

Hello all!

I'm about to start building some early/midwar Luftwaffe Campaigns and am looking for ideas or suggestions.
These are going to be as historically accurate as possible, but i am also trying to make something new and exciting for everyone!
If you have any ideas of a mission you might have been wanting to fly and haven't seen yet just hit me up and ill see what i can do!

Thanks in advance!!

I started to design a LW campaign, but I'll never have enough time to finish it:

1939 Poland September 1, 1939 – October 6, 1939
1940 Norway April 9, 1940 – June 10, 1940
1940 Holland May 10, 1940 – May 14, 1940
1940 BoF May 10, 1940 – June 25, 1940
1940 BoB July 10, 1940 – October 31, 1940
1941 Malta January–April 1941
1941 N Africa/Unternehmen Sonnenblume 6 February – 25 May 1941
1941 Barbarossa 22 June – 5 December 1941
1941 Battle of Moscow 2 October 1941 – 7 January 1942
...

That is a large Theater of missions. Were all of yours Historical or fictional? If Historical what was your source?

Sounds like a great idea....but you will need good reference work from both sides if you want to do the campaigns as accurate as possible....ideas?..virtually every halfway decent LW book could be turned into a great campaign no matter if it's early war mid war or late war...westfront med or east...if you want suggestions for reference books feel free to pm me :)

I usually make semi-historic missions due to lack of time. But I always try to get the unit strength, planetypes, camo and map location right. If I wanted to do a historic campaign, I'd start with these pretty detailed books:

These two books are great but they are only a small part of the really great literature that's now available about the LW at war...
I can throw in Lorant/Goyats Sturmjäger history or Urbankes Long nose 190 JG-54 history...or the great book about the BF-109T....and even these do not scratch the surface
