For some reason my Chipmunk canopy opens forward.

However this is an aircraft with no slot yet: It uses Magister slot which has no canopy. My bet is that we will have to wait and see until a proper slot+FM is made and check what happens from there...

That's exactly what I'm waiting for Hubberranz. As it is now the amount of movement to the canopy isn't enough to open it fully. Hence that's why I haven't done anything with it.;)

Chipmunks now have their own slots thanks to Mission_bug.  ;D

The slot was a quick and dirty one as we say, so the cockpit has Russian instruments as per the Z-26 but hopefully that is not a real immersion killer
and was to me the most appropriate for the Chipmunk from what was available in game already without a lot of work. ;)

Thanks very much but it also appears that the SSP folders for both Mks are missing from the update as well.

OK new slot solved the open cockpit issue.  ;)
Thanks for the missing lines for ssp.   8)

Here is a long lasting error borrowed from magister, which DOES NOT prevent either planes working quite fine...

...missing Hook report in msh is related to plane ( not cockpit ) file, and narrowed down to CF_D3.msh.

What i'm saying is that replacing CF_D3.msh by another planes msh file ( thus making a franken) of same name removes the error report. Hope that helps.
