Really great, thank you. Hope your other variants include the UK canopy version so we can have Royal Navy and RAF ones as well.

Kind regards and congratulations.

Hi Edlor  Greatings !           ... 'm on 412 SAS 5.3
( Did not try your new Brit version ). Thanks for this new update !

I have a problem with No slot DHC-1 on Magister. Solved yet ? By the way the error list is the same as for the Magister, and is totally unrelated to this behavior.
Meaning the jump in the air is NOT reported as an error...

So the above list of errors on Magister AND Chipmunk are not related to this issue since Magister does work fine.

Problem plane jumps in the air when spawning on the ground. Any one else experiencing this ?

Event Horizon

The reasons as far as I can tell: GearC2_D0.msh

In magister GearC1_D0.msh is not used (hidden) and GearC2_D0.msh is full gear plus wheel, with contact to ground ( hook ? ) expected in magister classes.
In your mod GearC1_DO.msh is the wheel ( contact should be expexted here... ) attached to GearC2_D0.msh "structure", attached to tail.
This means the new GearC2_D0.msh is not made to contact the ground (?); so it bounced with use of magister class. Any new slot version should be made
to rectify this "hook" relation to class. But what do I know of that stuff, I could be wrong.

Code: [Select]
[GearC2_D0]            <---------------------- FULL gear + wheel
Mesh GearC2_D0
Parent Tail1_D0
Separable
Attaching 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 -3.68333e-008 6.04093e-010

[GearC1_D0]                 <--------- actually a "strut only" part.
Mesh GearC1_D0
Parent Tail1_D0
Separable
hidden           <------------------------------------------------------------------HA ! Not used and placed far off to left side of plane.
Attaching 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 -3.68333e-008 6.04093e-010
Magister

Code: [Select]
[GearC2_D0]
Mesh GearC2_D0
Parent Tail1_D0
Separable
Attaching 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 -3.68333e-008 6.04093e-010

[GearC1_D0]                      <---------------------------- Wheel;  .. does contact to ground needs some hook fix/relation to class ?
Mesh GearC1_D0
Parent GearC2_D0              <-----------------------------Ha again ! As it should be however...  if to be a wheel.
Separablelas
Attaching 0 -1 0   1 0 0   0 0 1 -0.002 5.29 -0.114
Chipmunk
...
...
This fix above  and seen below: currently I use  GearC2_D0.msh of the magister mod instead...

I use Magister tail wheel for now.  > solved in next post by Edlor: see his Gear fix first post !

Hi Hubberranz,

Thanks for pointing this one out. I made a last minute change to the GearC2_D0 file and I simply missed adding this line to the file before releasing.

[Hooks]
_ClipCGear <BASE>

So no wonder the aircraft was doing flips without it.  ;D

Anyways I've added a fix to the first post or if you know your way around the 3DO files you can simply add the above lines to your GearC2_Do file.

Cheers and thanks again,

Edlor

Glad to hear that works Hubberranz cause I was getting ready to tear into this when I remembered doing the adjustment. I would never have know about this issue without you bringing it to my attention because I never made that last adjustment to my copy. So a big thanks to you for that. :)

Cheers and thanks again,

You're very welcome oldschoolie.  :)

Fortunately there wasn't much to change to make the UK version. A couple of upper main struts and a canopy was pretty much it. ;)

Glad you like it and enjoy.  ;D

For some reason my Chipmunk canopy opens forward. Did I install something backwards? :-[
