Yes that would be something to aim for! 

I very much hope I'll manage to release it in time, but my IL-2 modding takes very long time. 
I started the campaign building in 2015 and the map editing in 2016...

Still working on the map updates and on the campaign:

Added town of Lubliniec since I./StG 77 attacked Polish fortifications and positions there.
Added town of Ilza and ruins of the Ilza Castle for battle of Ilza/ Radom.
Added operational airfield (Einsatzhafen I) at Märzdorf used by I./ZG 76 in September 1939.

I'll might add some more towns and airfields if needed for my Poland 1939 DGen_Mod campaign.

Kruszyna used by I/StG77
Kuciny used by 11(211) & 12(212) Eskadra Bombowa

Added town of Poddebice.

I've now cleaned and fine tuned the 3d objects in about half of the towns including all large cities, so if I can keep up the same speed I estimate a release this year would be possible.

I'm still updating the Poland_1939 map! 

I've spent a lot of time on the map since March, but I got tired of doing the same edits over and over again.
So in May I decided to scrap all previous work on the generic towns and start over making templates for the towns and use the tools by Nowekat instead.
Making the templates took about 3 months and I also decided to populate the suburbs and the fields.
To keep the actors static on a manageable size I've only populated the fields close to airfields and most of the towns.
The actors.static is currently at 6,65 MB and the number of objects is 805278 which is an increased with 455596 objects.

I've also made some minor updates on the map textures.

A release this year still seems possible.

Most of the airfields used by the Polish air force during the September campaign were simple interim war time airstrips with limited facilities.
I've had big difficulties finding information about them, also there exact location has been hard to find, especially since I don't understand the Polish language, so I had to rely on online translators.

If you or anyone else have any information please let me know.

What kind of help do you expect? Maybe I can help ...

Valuable info would be:
Maps showing the exact location of the airfield.
Drawings or images of the airfields.

And for the 1939 campaign detailed info about the missions flown by:
Eskadra Mysliwska 112, 141 and 162.
Eskadra Bombowa 2(22)
Eskadra Bombowa 11(211)

Detailed info would be like a squadron log book, including: date, time, weather, mission objective, number of planes, target area and any enemy encounters.
