Been writing about this every were i go to spread the news. These two installs do compliment each other. Keep my installs separate but for someone fresh it sounds like a good idea.

The great machinery has swung into action and I believe the VPMedia Torrent will be constructed soon.  8)

THE PERFECT COMPANION TO B.A.T.

Monty, what do you mean by " BAT Directory"?

I don't understand what your instructions are trying to tell me to do exactly"...You then need to extract to your BAT Directory ONLY the folders - #SAS and SFS_AUTO."?

Simply the Directory (PC Pathway) to which you have installed the modded Il2 412 from which you run B.A.T.  I already indicated that there is an existing #SAS Mod Folder there.  The place where your executables (Il2Fb.exe and IL-2 Selector.exe) are.  The Main Install, Home Plate, Crib, Baseline, the Mother of all Folders!

I like it. :) Although I wish there was a torrent for VP's Modpack.

Thanks Mark, I think Mike is onto it in the next week or so.  Bloody marvelous!  ;D

Thank you for this interesting solution.
VP Modpack is great. I will continue to keep and run it outside of BAT however. But it's just me - I'm not sure I don't do anything wrong while extracting and adding new files to my "stock" BAT. But it's good to have different options, indeed.

I'm not sure I don't do anything wrong while extracting and adding new files to my "stock" BAT.

Is no problem as the vpmp is also executable under a different name, ie "#vpmp".
This just would need a new entry in the i2fb.ini.
So you would preserve your stock #SAS.

I dumped my BAT #SAS as I do not need it and replaced it with vpmps one.
Did the same with SFS_AUTO and voila, after a little editing the il2fb.ini
no problems so far running BAT and the vpmp.

Only issue to consider is the dgen folder wich comes with the vpmp...
it has a lot more files with a lot of other than the stock dgen campaigns.
In my case I simply disabled the existing dgen folder and moved vpmp's
one there. This is no problem as I do not use the stock dgens in BAT.
But I do not know wich implications this has for users who use stock
campaigns in BAT and then override with vpmp dgen folder?
Maybe someone can clarify this?

HI all,
Just to let you know, my BAT/VP mod instillation folder (as Monty explained)
is now 126GB with  only 2 extra mods added to the VP mod.
Think I might need a 500GB drive just for IL2 1946 for what's maybe going
to be added in the future.
Cheers edc1 (stan)

Can UltraSpain2017 be somehow added to BAT?

I do not want to hijack thread, but do not know where to post this question.
Excuse me, admin, please.
