Finally, I found that indeed some shipes are missing. Strangely enough, the generic "Yamato class BB" is there but the more specific entries Yamato 1942, Mushashi and Mushashi 1944 are not! The Ise class battleships are invisible too and also Iowa class BB are invisible, apart from the Iowa itself!!!!

And all the rest is visible! Can someone check please to verify as my specific problem or not?

Why on earth are you guys discussing missing ships in a thread where the topic is "Seafire L Mk.III 20mm Hispano Gun"?

Hello Fanatic,

Read your disappearing ship problem. This is what I found:

 1. Checked my install and all the ships showed up.
 2. Funny thing though, the "Ise" has a pink after deck ( more on that in a minute).
 3. Out of curiosity I reinstalled BATDLLS-01, voila the ships disappeared.
 4. Then reinstalled BATDLLS-02 and the ships reappeared.
 5. See page 6 of the manual.
 6. About the pink afterdeck, traced down the mod and found its not a problem when you install the ship on a map, its just a problem with FMB viewer.

Hope this solves the problem.

Thank you, it helped a lot! Like this I solved the problem. I hope someone would bother to work on new DLLs, I wish I could, but I have no idea...

For those that want to 'fly' the Seafire L.III, there is finally a solution here

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,56068.msg622013.html#msg622013

delete two classfiles from the !SAS_Engine_Mod folder, the 4B598398AD1D180C and 08447B2E29097EB0.

Then the Seafire would work perfectly.

All the credit should go to our Danish big brother for solving this.

Note: Everyone should do this, even with a fresh BAT v3.4 installation.

I am not sure what you guys are doing here and why, and who the "Danish Big Brother" is and why he would want you to delete random files from Engine Mod.

The only statement I have about this is:

In other words: don't do something like that, it will have other effects you can't control.

Classfiles 4B598398AD1D180C and 08447B2E29097EB0 ,
its original class name is Aircraft.class ,
They are NOT related to BAT v3.4 Seafire L Mk.III 20mm Hispano Gun.

Only Misconception.

Some added Seafire mod made replacing stock "Default" loadout of Seafire L Mk.III and it doesn't have 20mm choice.
That mod expanding loadouts (added HVAR loadouts and others) might require Aircraft.class changes in Engine mod.

When you delete Aircraft.class files from !SAS_Engine_Mod folder ,
that modded / added Seafire L III loadouts become inhibited and lost ..... only left stock unmodded loadouts.

Perhaps not few modded aircrafts / modded loadouts may use Aircraft.class expansion for their loadouts.

I don't know What / in which version Seafire mod is composed in BAT and what author design and construction were done in that modding stage; Non 20mm Hispanos are modder's designed or bugged.
Unmodded loadouts like "30 gal. Droptank" or "60pounds rockets" have 20mm guns as same as stock ones without any Engine mod folder edit / BAT v3.4 installation edit.
Fundamentally Seafire 's original mod problem, NOT Engine mod.

Adding to the confusion; I think this insn't a mod at all, only an altered line in plane.properties. Default we had - in 4.10! - these AIR entries:
SeafireMkIII        air.SEAFIRE3     1                    830sq     DESERT
SeafireFMkIII   air.SEAFIRE3F    1     NOINFO    1830sq     DESERT, translated to

SeafireFMkIII        Seafire F MkIII, 1943
SeafireMkIII         Seafire L MkIII, 1943 in the Linebacker plane.properties.

I have remmed the two class files out and the 20mm guns in the Seafire Mk III, work ok after that. Haven't checked anything further

I am not sure what you guys are doing here and why, and who the "Danish Big Brother" is and why he would want you to delete random files from Engine Mod.

Store Bror means big brother in Norvegian, ok since he says in his profile that he stays in Danmark I thought that he's a Dane, so ok he 's maybe a Norvegian living in Danmark, not the first one to do so...

The advise is clear to me:
Remove all copies of "554D28A0041EF420" except for ones found in !SAS_Engine_Mod folder.
Remove all copies of "AAF46F6E19676E80", "4B598398AD1D180C", "08447B2E29097EB0" regardless where you find them.
Remove all copies of "2E1ADF6EDF8A6C64" regardless where you find them, as long as you don't plan to use the TD Libby.

Best regards - Mike

And since he's telling us that remove this files, I trust his word on this, even if to be honest, I found that only the "4B598398AD1D180C" is causing the problem.

The "AAF46F6E19676E80" is not anymore in the !SAS engine mod, and as I mentioned "08447B2E29097EB0" is not causing any problem (at least of what I am aware of, maybe it did in earlier versions).

So what the "4B598398AD1D180C" does, that needs to remain inside the !SAS engine mod at all costs? I deleted it two weeks ago and it the BAT v3.4 remains ultra-stable, regardless if it's there or not.

I see.
That's a bit particular coming from Mike.

However I still suggest to not randomly remove files from Engine Mod.

cheers. v3.4 is perfect the only bug that I noticed apart from the Seafire is that in the Bf 109K-4 loadouts the K-6 option do not load.

And that's it. So perfect.

That's only you are blind troubles occured by the deleting "4B598398AD1D180C" made.

Already I said Seafire L Mk.III faces loadouts missing by it.
Countless other aircrafts might lose modded loadouts similarly.
