All in all, that is also what max said.
the mod is unfinished business on the 3D modelling side of things.
There is no amphibious function, the wheels are just cosmetic show.

it does not matter what version you use it in.

I used 409fm, but in addition to what has already been mentioned, I have a problem with shooting down Goose, simply the plane doesn't take lead ;D.
have you encountered the same problem?

Dear Gaston,
I just installed the complete Goose folder in WAW3. I didn't change anything, nore did I remove a minus in front of 410 and 411.
It works.
Hope it will help.
Regards.

I believe the aircraft cannot land on the ground as well as land on the water,
doing both things.
From what I know up to now (unless there is a new mod I am unaware of) this function was not made into
the IL2-1946 (yet).
As far back as when the PBY-"Black-cat" was being made, this was not possible either, that is why the wheels
were just on the airplane for historical-reasons (in the skins) but they did not function or were used. The airplane can only land on the water.

With so many breakthrough developments and new ideas already created for this game in the past years
(for example; Helicopters, modern Jets, vertical-takeoff+landing jets, HD-skins, radar, etc. etc.) one day someone will
figure out how to include this "special code" into these aircraft.
I have no idea how, but one day it may happen.

:( The Goose is definitely a hydro that I particularly love, the amphibious function would be nice to use but for me it would be just an option ... I would be able to get it off the water without problems, and instead in the takeoff function always starts with the engine left stuck, with the crumpled propeller, does it happen to you too? I would be enough to understand how to prevent this malfunction ....  ;)

I don't see any collision box!
So actually this plane is indestructible!  ;)

Dear Max,
there is an amphibious aircraft inside Il2: the JF2 Duck. The landing gear is operated through the dive flap command.
Have fun.
Best regards.

Edit: it can even land on sea with the gear down. lol.

In fact there are two!
The first of its kind is a Fi-156 with floats L-5 Sentinel Amphibian (03/2012) (with wheels under the floats) that can land and also land!

ah, now I know what's going on, Thank you for the clarification Epervier.

It is a pity that Fi-156 with floats that we have in the game has no wheels.
