Apologies Simon, but i do not know who RDDR is.

You both obviously have a great interest in your subject, due to the amount of detail included in your campaigns.

I am more of a ground & sea war enthusiast for both WW1 and WW2.

But obviously this does overlap into both air wars as well.

A Battle Of Britain campaign would be high on my list if i was asked for a preference.  8)

I flew the Hurricane more than anything in CLOD, but MP isn't really for me.

Much appreciated.
Mike.

I am actually going to fly this. Full stop.
I am a big fan of the Hurricane and the TFM - Battle of Britain campaign has left a lasting impression on me (it is the benchmark for me).
Not sure how (its seems impossible...) but Monty you will manage to get me off red stars and Leningrad Oblast !
Gidzillions of thank you!

I promise you Zoran, the new Hurricane missions will blow you away.  ;D

We have many more complete squadrons painted and have improved on taxiing, dispersal starts, mass scrambles and flight formations.  There are so many features in the improved FMB we have only previously scratched the surface.  Add to this the Coastal Spotters, Observers and Ground Controllers and we have something really special.

The original TFM Campaign is one of the ten campaigns.  It has been rebuilt, not only for the new skins and scenery, but also including a greater variety of startup situations and a huge object and vehicle upgrade too.

Of course there is also plenty of action with players also flying the Spitfire, several Coastal Command types and even the newly refurbished and painted Defiant + several Luftwaffe campaigns too + a new 'Campaign Companion', the biggest yet...

Hi There Dogbert and friends.
Hoping everyone will really get a Bang out of BOB when it is released.
There is no doubt in my mind that everything is becoming more and more immersive with
these missions as we take to the air and make contact with the enemy. Many of us for
the first time. Simon and I have been shaking everything down and I will say that most all of
these air clashes are not for the feint of heart.
Simon has been extremely careful building these missions from a historical point of view
day by day, week after week from official RAF and Luftwaffe official reports so the immersion
 is really quite wonderful.
Enough from me other to say that my name is Christopher aka RDDR.
I dont often post, but that is not to say that I dont read posts.I read everything that comes into the BAT area
 almost every day.
I hope everyone will enjoy The BOB and read the upcoming new manual as it is full of wonderful info.
 All The very Best.

 RDDR

The skinning and markings for this campaign are truly outstanding The 32 squadron Hurris and the 610 squadron Spits are exquisite for instance. So looking forward to this work of truly historic and epic homage to its subject.
Having said that, could I raise a couple of points regarding the roundels on the Sunderland and Wellington? The narrow white and yellow rings are from 1942 on and out of period.....

Good catch Peter, much better with the older style roundels...

Speaking of rondals and coding,I do believe that inebriation played a part when this ZG76 aircraft was coded.
It was retired after making a wheels up and sliding into a copse of trees several weeks later.

Looking great! Only; beware with Night and White undersides for Spitfire and Hurricane. Camouflage and Markings by Goulding andJones gives: 'Night and White under surface scheme replaced from 6th June on service aircraft and 11th June on production Spitfire by Sky on all undersurfaces. No underwing roundels used generally. Roundels introduced officially from 11th August 1940, on Service Spitfires and 18th August on production aircraft.' And Night and White unders before 27th November 1940 never used underwing roundels. Only fighters operating over France had underwing roundels in this periode. The Night and White with the differnt aillerons was used 'at the end of 1938 or early 1939' according to these gentleman.
