How long after you asked her did you get married?

Looking forward to the campaigns.

Met and married within six weeks.  Luckily she was also young and stupid as well as beautiful!  We emigrated to Australia ten years ago which is also a big life changing deal.  We love our new life too but our old life is a long way away.

Same deal with mine, young, stupid and beautiful, she has put up with me for nearly 50 years.

And still indulges you as much as my Dawn I bet!  I would die for her in a second but really feel so lucky every day.  ;D

The Bay of Biscay Map, by agracier and tbauchot really has that piece of coastline, from Weymouth to Portsmouth, just perfect.  We have both looked at in the sim and said "hey, we were there!"  Further inland many abandoned airfields have been gradually absorbed back into the surrounding farmland.  Driving some of the more remote tracks you might see a shocking red and white checked roof on an old barn and suddenly realise that its an old control centre or repair shed!

Only eleven years ago, near a small town we lived in called Wincanton, an entire B17 was discovered in a field.  It had crashed near some woods well short of approach, was never found, and gradually buried itself over 60 years.  We attended the memorial service organised by the town Mayoress and met some of the relatives of the crew.

Lovely to learn a bit of personal history from you guys. Really appreciate all the work you put in. I loved the " hurricane season" campaign  for Il2 which In completed pretty mods  several years ago. (I cannot remember who created it)  Looking forward to Battle of Britain campaign with an actual channel map.

In the spirit of "Coming soon you buggers!" I can only say "You bloody legend!"

Simon, your TFM epic (the 65 missions) left a lasting impression on me. What a masterpiece!

This was a time when I was flying ...hmm... these days I Gimp, GMax and actors.static a lot plus test and debug for others.
I really need to clone myself so that I can fly your updated campaigns.
All the best to you and your gang.

I am in awe of all the work you have put into my favourite game Monty and I thank you. I don't know how much of a stickler you are for accuracy or whether you consider such matters for geeks only and if that is the case that's OK with me, but can I just be a pain in the ass and point out that the Fighter Command fuselage band was only applied after the Battle of Britain. The screenshot may well be out of date, if so forgive me. Once again many thanks.
