USS Los Angeles class SSN v1.0 on 15th/Jul./2019
« on: February 14, 2017, 09:22:25 AM »

=== USS Los Angeles class SSN version 1.0 on 15th/Jul./2019 ===

USS Los Angeles class SSN-688, nuclear-powered fast attack submarine mod.
For Il-2 1946 ver4.10.1m-4.13.4m.

This 3D model is provided by Tansoku102cm with his permission, originated for MikuMikuDance - PMX model. I convert it into IL-2 1946 mod.
Thanks!!

v1.0 's changes from "Beta version" on 14th/Feb./2017
- Add proper LOD 3d models for better fps in far distance.
- Add proper shadow models for better fps.
- A bit more rich polys for the nearest LOD0 model.

Still only surfaced, no attacking ship object.
No submerged ship attacking to enemies.
I cannot promise I'll make them in the future.

* Need "High Resolution / Full color mod" -- Los Angeles mod uses 2048x2048 texture.

Hi ~~ .

Historical USS Los Angeles class submarine is about 110 meters long.

Here is my model in 3ds Max, with Tape Measure function to show its 1:1 scale length.

But her nose and tail are hidden under the water even in surfaced time.
You can see Los Angeles' Water line about 104 meters long ---- 6 meters shorter than full length.

The widest area of the hull is also hidden under the water.
