Mouse pointer disappered after new screen!
« on: February 02, 2017, 03:15:52 AM »

After setting up a new screen 28" resolution 3840 x 2160 game loads fine, I can see the mouse pointer in yellow as it should but when I try to move the pointer it disappears! It´s not the old alt+tab in/out/in problem it´s not there any more! I´ve tried changing the setting in the[rts] section from 2, as it was to 1, 0 and 3 to no avail! What more can I do?
End of log.lst looks like this:

Are you using Win10? If so, have you tried this?:

-Right-click on the shortcut that you use to start IL2
-Go to Properties
-Go to the Compatibility tab
-Check the box that says "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings"

Also, check that the resolution in your conf.ini matches your monitor display. Win10 does some screwy things with resolutions.

Same problem here although this solution did not do the trick for me. I set resolution in config ini to native screen resolution checked the box in properties. It still opens in a non-fitting window and the mouse is not useable.

Where is your game located? If in C\\Program files, move it out of there to any other location! Is your conf.ini set to read only? Right click on it , go to properties and remove the check.
