Crash with Turret-Equipped Aircraft
« on: January 30, 2017, 08:19:24 PM »

When engaging enemy aircraft, the game crashes while flying aircraft with rear-firing guns, but it works fine when the turrets' autopilot functions are disabled

Whenever the text above enemy aircraft appears on the screen in any mission, the game locks up.

The issue is not confirmed.
In both "pure" BAT and latest Expansion + Service Pack (07) the issue doesn't exist.

proweather, you've got an additional mod install which is incompatible with IL-2 4.12.2.
The mod in question touches the "Voice" class.
Watch out for a mod of yours which contains the file "AC5FA4E0C4387632".
Next time, please clearly specify additional mods you've installed, it's mandatory for others to know about this if you expect external help.

Best regards - Mike

If you add a mod and then subsequently generate a problem that nobody has had before, what do you think?

BAT is SO mod friendly.  The half dozen folders in any B.A.T. #Mod folder are neat, small and arranged in order.  Any user added Mod will be in there standing out like a pickled onion in a fruit salad.  So why not tell us the whole story?

B.A.T. is already a HEAVILY modded install. - Adding any mod yourself is highly likely to generate some issue. - That's fine if you sort it out in a logical way and tell us what's happenning.  However, it is only ever fair to ask for help with relation to the common B.A.T. install we all have, not something bespoke that you made up.

Moving the goalposts...  :o
