I appreciate the compliments, guys! I do this stuff for myself first, but if others derive enjoyment it makes the effort so very much more rewarding.

If I had some already-made broken instrument glass textures I would have tackled the damaged versions of the gauges as well. As it is, unfortunately, those included here are unchanged from those included in the package I recently downloaded. If I get hold of some decent busted glass textures I'll get round to treating them...

This is stunning work my friend.  :) :P

I like especially the front glass work, the seat headrest texture and the gunsight.
 :)
Top job on that old bird. 8)

I do like them too. All glass (front armour, gunsight reflection and a canopy) is really awesome, but you do a great work too Thorsten  ;)

I have shied away from incorporating canopy glass *reflections* due to the painted-on-the-glass aspect. Real reflections lie some distance *beyond* the surface, in the same manner that your reflection while shaving is a couple of feet past the mirror. With any significant range of viewpoint movement via 6DOF, reflections that give every indication of not lying some distance beyond the glazing is distracting to me. Especially when the POV gets quite near the surface, where the 'reflection' becomes significantly enlarged.

That's why I've been content to use simple 'dirt' texturing. In my case I reverse the vertex surface normals from the usual treatment so that this shmutz appears rather more strongly when seen in the general direction of the Sun. This mimics the actual propensity for such dirt and dust to more efficiently scatter light in the general direction of travel, which is called forward scattering. Backscattering for such stuff is usually less efficient.
