Hello 101tfs, at the moment I am trying to sort this particualr Hs126 out with help from others:

http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,53763.0.html

Once that is finalised I will have a look at your model if no one else picks it up.

Once everything is in place for that earlier release it should be straight forward to add your
model but we will have to name it as a B model and try the 323 engine FM in it so we have two
separate models.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Strictly speaking I was not going to make a start on this until the current project was finished, early days though. ;)

I will try and post something in the school tomorrow.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Looks very nice.

Yes indeed a very nice model asheshouse. 8)

The 3D was uploaded with the cockpit for pilot and gunner from a Ju-87 that I struggled to get working, however, eventually
I got a earlier version to do so:

There are issues at the moment with the tail which will need to be replaced and there are also other parts that will need to
be hidden or replaced with the 3D from the Hs126.

Available now spatted or not and the strut pylon is added with the weapon option selected:

A version is available in the school but as yet 101tfs has not posted any comments on how he wants the work to proceed
so essentially I have been adding things in that we have in the earlier release from Edlor, mainly weapon hooks.

This version has different java to the earlier version as I am now using the Ju87B-2 as a base.

Edlor's version is still my priority as that was here first but this is progressing. ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Hello guys, here is the WIP of the Henschel from 101tfs. ;)

Updated 16:16 Sunday 5th March 2017.

Mediafire link:

https://www.mediafire.com/?icckxtcvym4mpl2

This has been in the SuperSchool now for a while and as yet there has been no communication from the author as
to what exactly he wanted doing to it so this is the WIP so far.

The aircraft has all the previous weapon options that were added to the Edlor version, however, there is no twin nose gun
armament, that will need 3D making for it.

The cockpit and gunner stations are as previously shown from the Stuka, I have made no alterations to them although they
need parts adding from the actual 3D for the pilot's cockpit and some parts to be hidden in the gunner cockpit.

There were two cannons in the original download, although I have no references that show them fitted I have included them.

The readme:

Hs-126 by 101tfs work in progress.

New code: Mike Storebror. (now utilises those predominantley from the Ju-87 except were elements were retained in each type class for the weapon options.

Weapon options have been expanded to include those used by export aircraft and others mentioned in various references.

The tank is a placeholder to represent a smoke pod used on Luftwaffe aircraft and will be altered if the model becomes available from Dreamk.

Needs SAS Common Utils to be installed:

http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,40490.msg453321.html#msg453321

Tests by SAS~Epervier reported that this does not work in a 4.09 install.

Full credits to DreamK for the classes and folders for the SC10.

The 30lbFrag_M5 used in this mod is part Dreamks US WW2 Air-Ground Ordnance Pack Updated 29/7/16 - Bombs, Rockets, Pyrotechnics and...Smoke Dispensers
Ready to DL:

http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,51925.0.html

The above is for a 4.12 and 4.13 game so this option will not be available to you if it does not work in other versions.

Slot:  Pete Shaw aka Mission_bug, type renamed from the Hs126A_1 and with new mother, cockpit and gunner classes from the Ju-87B

SSP included.

Notes:

Two versions of the aircraft are now included one with spats, one not.

Tested in DBW 1.71 and TD 4.12.2 with SAS ModAct 5.30, unable to test in a 4.09 install as I do not have one.

The aircraft mother class and cockpit and gun station uses those from the Ju87B2 renamed for the Hs126, the java is from the Class dump files for 4.12.

The gun cockpit would not show untill various texture entries were removed from the java, the tail is Green when seen in game.

Some of the Ju87 parts in the cockpit and gunner station need to be replaced with those from the actual 3D from the Hs126.

The aircraft would not show in my DBW install, this was traced to the engine.tga, that was deactivated and a borrowed one used so obviously it affects the mapping of that part.

I set the model to use 1024 and 2048 textures, previously everything used tga files from the Ju87.

Some of the bomb hooks came from the earlier He46 and Hs126_A, however, the orientation of this mod was different so they had to be rotated ninety degrees to fit and have been moved forward to avoid the fan, extra options added.

When initially tested the model would be above the airfield on a scramble mission and would crash to earth, this was found to be the FM which I was using from the Hs126A, when changed to that of a Ju 87 all was okay.

I went through the FM changing parts from the Ju87 to the previous Hs126 but this remains from the Ju87:

[Gear]
  H 2.260769
  Pitch 12.205
  SinkFactor 1000.0
  SpringsStiffness 0.4

I take it 101tfs must have set the hooks to the Ju87.

There is only 10 km/h increase with the new FM over the previous one, however, that itself was a little faster than for the A in comparrison to figures I have for the B.  Not tried at altitude only around 500m.

This model does not have the forward firing twin machine guns of the export model as parts are not available, the easiest method would be to make a CF_D0 with twin guns and make that a individual slot

The port pylon that was attached to the model is now a searate part in the arms folder and will show if particular options are selected in the QMB armament screen.

Two cannons were provided in the download and these are working, however, I cannot find any reference to them or how they were attached.

Add the folder 'Hs-126B-1 101tfs' to your #DBW or #SAS folder, 4.09 I think uses Mod folder.

1) add to your ini file
Hs126B_1            air.Hs126B_1                           NOINFO  g01   SUMMER
Hs126B_1_Spats      air.Hs126B_1_Spats                     NOINFO  g01   SUMMER

2) you can also add to the plane_ru.properties file the following line:
Hs126B_1   Henschel Hs.126B 1, 1938
Hs126B_1_Spats   Henschel Hs.126B 1_Spats, 1938

Skin folder:

Hs126B_1

If you want to use the Self Stationary Planes add the folder 'PS_Hs126B_1_SSP'  then add the following to stationary and technics files:

[Self_StationaryPlanes]

Hs126B_1  vehicles.planes.Hs126B_1Static$Hs126B_1  1
Hs126B_1_Spats  vehicles.planes.Hs126B_1_SpatsStatic$Hs126B_1_Spats  1

//===================================================================
//
// Self Stationary planes
//
//===================================================================

[Hs126B_1]
Description Hs126B_1
Icon Plane
Class air.Hs126B_1
PanzerBodyFront 0.008

[Hs126B_1_Spats]
Description Hs126B_1_Spats
Icon Plane
Class air.Hs126B_1_Spats
PanzerBodyFront 0.008

Thank you very much to all involved in this project, really apprecaited.

The sources are available in the school to anyone who wants to develop this further.  ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
