F'n nVidia
« on: October 08, 2016, 02:50:00 PM »

They nearly trashed my computer with their new drivers. I tried using the new GeForce experience to do some video capture. Didn't work, so I tried to uninstall it. Couldn't uninstall that crap. (Yes, I realize I'm an idiot because it's never really worked for me, but I was hoping it would work this time.) My computer locked up, wouldn't restart. Had to go into safe mode to get rid of everything and reinstall driver only without their garbage. Lesson learned.

Shadowplay only works on GeForce GTX class GPUs 1080, 1070, 1060, TITAN X, 900, 700, 600, 900M, 800M, 700M, select 600M Series:

If your GPU doesn't fall into that category, this hint might or might not help you out:

I'm using GeForce Experience on 3 PCs without issues, even had to uninstall it once when I messed up with my testing, no issue uninstalling it either.
It's not too helpful for me apart from ShadowPlay, but it doesn't hurt either.

Best regards - Mike

On uninstalling; I use Revo Uninstaller free version. Never had a problem with it, works very easy and it removes 'all' files connected with the program. Sorry to sound like  comercial, but this is a great program.

Using it with my GTX970 4Gb and I love it. I've uploaded many videos to youtube. :)
