Btw if you press shift+tab during the mission you'll see which skins are missing.

The dgen maps are fixed, not possible to simply change a campaign to use mod maps. Only stock maps are usable by this version of dgen. Asura made a modded dgen, I'm not sure how many campaigns are available for it: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,20104.0.html

The HD mod enables you to use textures larger than 1024*1024/4Mb.

VP Modpack is one of the easiest modpack I know in preparing and installing.

No need to touch any ini-s to work, no need to install some other mods dependent , etc. etc.

Just installed IL-2 1946 VP Modpack - wow, FANTASTIC!  I do have one issue, it seems that the Generic ETO RAF Campaign, 1939-1945, goes back to the main menu when I select the campaign.  So far I have not had this issue with other campaigns.  For some reason, it won't generate a a new campaign.  Has anyone had this issue?

Is it possible to switch to default engine sounds? Some sounds are very low ((( But VP Modpack is fantastic! Best ever!

Hi mikojan3,

Thanks for this information!! I read the posts and wanted to ask:

1.) Are any of the mentioned open canopy and flaps sounds already present in the VP Modpack and this is just an enhancement to some of the the sounds ? It seems like there is some flap and open canopy sounds already present in VP Modpack.

2.) It appears as thought these enhancements do not contain any changes regrading weapons. Is that correct ?
