Got a quick question, my hotkeys for resetting my opentrack view do not work only on this install of the game, VP modpack. No matter what key I set nothing gets "out" of il2, on my bat install and stock install I can reset the view without having to alt tab, I looked through the config file and found nothing unusual or much different, do you have any idea what could be causing this? Basically no commands work for a program outside of the il2 gamewindow.

NVm figured it out, the il2 exe was run as admin while opentrack was not, thus the conflict.

Hello everybody,
this is my first time here, I installed 1946 last weekend and have been trying to get the VP modpack to work for a week now. Suffice to say that has led to a lot of frustration on my part. I finally got it to work, except for the (as I have found out) common issue of the quick mission builder not working. I've tried almost every solution I have seen around, and nothing solves my issue. Folders inside the initial main folder include one called 'Missions', should i do something in this? Also, inside the 'Missions' folder is a folder that used to be named 'Quick' that I renamed 'QuickQMBPro'

If anyone could help me that'd be much appreciated.

If it's a common issue that means people dont install the patch. No patch, no qmb.

Do you just place the dcg compatibility mod into the mods folder and activate with jsgme?

I downloaded the VP Modpack only yesterday so am I up to date ?

no mod, just increase 'BestSpace' parameter in the technics.ini

Hey VP is it possible to install this mod on top of HSFX? I just got a 4.12 install with HSFX and asuras dgen working to play boeckles west front campaign, it all works, but I'd love for the mods from VP to be in it. Is this a possibility?

My Fw 152s will not take off. whenever I try to place them on the runway they jump in the air and then fall back and explode. They do this in quick mission builder too. It is very like what happens when you have the wrong/incompatible bomb load but it must be something else because there is no load-out involved. I also have BAT installed and the TA 152s in that game behave themselves just fine. Can anyone help me with this problem? Forgive me if I have missed a simple answer in this or another thread. I have searched but found nothing.

I tested both models on the same map with the same mission and all I can say is that I do not seem to have this problem. If you added any extra mods the culprit must be among those. I see nothing major in the logfile other than the usual ship errors which are generated only once on startup and are inconsequential and three missing skins of stationary aircraft which also have no effect on the game.
