Okay, I wasn't sure...thanks... I prefer Fred's dewoitine (the cockpit is just one of the best and the whole plane is great - even easier to skin)
take care

What you can always do is to check the logfile. Maybe just some simple texture is missing. You can also use the classcheck.exe to find classfile conflicts which you can resolve by changing the load order or deactivating the mod with same classfile names.

Here's a mod I tried integrating into my VP ModPack installation, but I start up the game and freezes at 50%, so I stop the program with Task Manager.

So I tried deleting its classfiles and it loaded up to 70% until it crashed to Desktop.

I tested that mod and it works fine, no freeze or crash.

Strange that it doesn't for me though..

Did you change the file's name in your #SAS folder? Maybe renaming it with !!_ or 00_ might do effect?

There are no classfile conflicts, so it does not matter what you call the folder. This does not mean that in your install there aren't any conflicts, but I can only check my game. Try to use the classcheck.exe.

I'll try doing a classfile check later and give you the doublon.txt file so you can give it a look.

Hi vpmedia, i have seen your thread "cockpit upgrade pack"; is that mod already included in your vpmodpack or i have to add it? If i have to add it where do you suggest to place it in the SAS folder (i mean the hierarchy within the folder)

After some tweaking around and removing two unnecessary aircraft (Grumman Goose and PT-17 Stearman), the game no longer has conflicts nor crashes. All is good! ;D Thanks VP!

I'm glad that I could help. :)

Its good to be aware of classfile conflicts, but sometimes the results of classcheck.exe are missleading because it makes you think that you got major problems, but not every conflict breaks your game. I usually look at whats happening during gameplay and if everything works as it worked in the past 10+ years than I consider the modpack ok. If you want to look into/compare classfiles there's a free util called Java decompiler, works from command line, you can find it by googling jad.exe.

All the mods/changes I ever made to the game are included in the vpmodpack.
In fact I made this modpack because I lost the track off all the changes and I basically had to publish my entire mods folder. :)

I have the VP Modpack installed and running.  I have noticed a problem in the FMB.  l have placed waypoints for the USS Essex CV9 on the Palau Map.  I then placed waypoints for a F4U-1D Corsair and when I try to set the takeoff or landing waypoints to this carrier I can't do it.  If I use the USS Princeton CVL 23 I can set the takeoff and landing waypoints to this carrier.  Any idea what the problem might be?  What should I be looking for in the log file to indicate the problem.

Thanks
