Where do I put the #VPMod_DCG_compatibility_mod_v1.0 ?

in your JGSME mods folder then activate it with JGSME.

Is it possible to switch to default engine sounds? Some sounds are very low ((( But VP Modpack is fantastic! Best ever!

Hi mikojan3,

Thanks for this information!! I read the posts and wanted to ask:

1.) Are any of the mentioned open canopy and flaps sounds already present in the VP Modpack and this is just an enhancement to some of the the sounds ? It seems like there is some flap and open canopy sounds already present in VP Modpack.

2.) It appears as thought these enhancements do not contain any changes regrading weapons. Is that correct ?

I think that the dave sounds are with the right volume with the latest update and that combined with eax 3d we have a lot of realism

I enjoy the heck out of this game.  My only gripe is this.  I have BAT all the way and also all the campaigns I have downloaded.  They all play flawlessly.  I fly hud only in my setup with the user interface in English measure with nice readable English language.  If the BAT developers could break the code and make it readable why cant the VP modpack be the same.  PAL should be able to do a BAT like user interface visual mod for VP Modpack or can I modify the one in Batmods to make it work in VP.  There is no option in game menu in VP to convert from small hard to read to the great large interface in BAT.  Thanks for listening  Brian

iP can get English measures in the bottom left corner and actions in the bottom right.  We need a PAL visual mod or game menu to change this please.

Both parts first and next are also difficult without screenshots.

Anyway .....
You can install any mods (if not conflict) you want over VP modpack , like PAL Visual mod V9 or PAL MissionComboPro.
VP modpack is designed as Open.
