Okay, must have had a bad day yesterday, I'm sorry.
Well...
You know that Jetwar requires Engine Mod?
I tried to compare but couldn't find any Engine Mod version (neither for 4.10 nor for 4.12, not even in DBW) matching the error line of your log:
Code: [Select]
[15:27:39] java.lang.RuntimeException: Error loading params from FlightModels/F-105D.fmd:F105
[15:27:39] at com.maddox.il2.fm.FlightModelMain.load(FlightModelMain.java:395)

So the question is: What Jetwar package and what Engine Mod exactly do you have installed?
Where can we download it to compare the results?

Best regards - Mike

In my 4.10.1m testing, 4.10.1m + DBW1.71 + JetEra1.33 + SAS Engine MOD 2.6RC and its patch....
and so HD Full color mod...
F-105 flies OK in Default loadout, no errors.

But Mk82 Daisy cutter bomb (or some more bombs) in Vega's weapon pack has fuse compatibility problem and not shown up in 4.10.1m.

And not tested by me but AIM-9B missile may make another crashing in 4.10.1m.

u need the hi-texture .dlls: il2_core.dll and il2_corep4.dll

Thanks !

For the ones (like me) who do not want to use HiRez mod, what are the files to reduce ? I have tried to reduce the image files in the 2 summer folders (tga and tgb), burt that seems not to be enough...

So... as I have no more indications, I am at this point :

-tgb reduced to 4097 ko,
-tga's resized to 3023/1025/257 ko,

taking as example the F-100D's summer folder, and the Hun works fine..

But still does not work. Is there something I have missed ?

I run DBW based 4.10 game.

additionally:
JetWar 1.33 with 4.10 bombs and hotfix
SAS_Engine_Mod_4101m_v26
WeaponsPack_4.10

all downloaded on SAS.

Okay, this means that for 4.10 the Thud would need a different FM since in Engine Mod 2.6 the parameter "CRefuelGear" must be either 0 or 1, which apparently isn't the case here.

also, I have noticed that the weapons mod (which I only installed for this plane test now) is screwing up a lot of my other planes loadouts (F-4 Phantom, F-100, Mig-21s, OV-1....) trying anything but default there leads to a CTD when that mod is installed.

This game has become a dependencies nightmare. I am going back to mordernweapons, that works for all other planes.

but the Thud won't show any loadout at all of course and won't load at all (as in: in QBM the plane that was selected previously loads instead of the F-105)

Well, you can't really blame the modders that they're focusing on contemporary versions.
4.12.2m was an accepted de-facto modding standard long ago, it is the version of choice when you want to build a custom jetwar game and last but not least, even our "bread and butter" mod pack "CUP" is 4.12 based.

And to close the circle, meanwhile the Thud has been tagged 4.12 compatible only on thread level.

Why F-105 has cockpit from F-86?
