I know that there is a P-47 in Belgrade, at the Air Force Museum, but I didn't know that there is one also in Croatia.  :o

Interesting to know, that in Belgrade at Museum of Aviation there is a P-38L-5-LO Lightning (ex44-25786) under restoration, and the sole existing Fiat G.50 in the whole world!!!  :o

Brasilian Airforce Museum owns an flyable P-47D. It's an original plane used in Italyby the Brazilian AF in 1944-45.

some photos i've found (mines aren't good enough)

Obs.: the padlock in the canopie was instaled because of the great number  of museum visitors breaking museum rules and climbing in the cockpit to take pictures... i have a pic of myself on it  :P

And the P-40 on his left side is also on flyable condition.

P-47 and P-40 are in flyable conditions in Brazil? That's great! You can never know where you find a vintage bird!  ;D

What else you got there in that museum of yours, Sani? I think i see a Buecker Jungmann in the background (civilian YU-CLY), and maybe an Aero 2 (the yellow one with the Airforce roundel)?

My dad used to maintain one of the Yugo F-47D's during his military service in the late 60's. They were withdrawn to training units by then but still kept in full flying condition.

He also worked on Sikorsky S-55/H-19 helis, which use the same engine as the Jug.
