F6F-5N Nightfighter

Hello guys,

I give you
the Grumman F6F-5N, a Night-fighter version, fitted with an AN/ APS-6 radar.  ;)



DOWNLOAD HERE:

Install is as usual, drop the mod into the MODS folder, then add the following line to your air.ini.

F6F-5N        air.F6F5N 1            NOINFO  usa01 DESERT

Skin folder is called F6F-5N

 Hello, i find manual for AN/APS-6 3 cm Radar as pdf, very interesting!
Is it implemented on this matter in Night Fighters Mod?

Still watching for Info how to install this Night Fighter Mod (4.101 SAS Modac RC04)
What should i install by next step? DBW Modd?

Have this beauty working great in my BAT Expansion 7 install but noticed that I don't have any tracers for either the .50 cal or 20mm. Does this occur for anyone else? Thanks in advance!

This is normal for a night fighter!  ;)
This is the case for all NFs that are in the game.
Some have a special loadout with tracers. The Bf-110G-4nf and He-219 for example.

Rad.  I will have use for this soon enough, for a campaign I'm building in a few weeks. 

I assume that this doesn't actually feature functional radar, and the radar blister on the starboard wing is just ornamental?
