Hello, Tom2

Good job.

Just a question, where did you get those FAP skins on the Mig-17?

Thanks in advance.

Check pm. ;) But it was a default skin with simply the nations engaged via JSGME mods and "show markings".

Some screens of the Quick missions at post 1/page 1..

A little afternote (you know me, it won't be the last).

Anyone seeing bumps in the coastline-speak up or pm me, I have two alternative sets of the so called map_h.tga, where I applied "coast align" in two ways.

Some shots of my favourite Quick:

This is a little option, only for very nitpicking pilots who saw gaps in the coastline somewhere. Readme inside, personally, I prefer the stock map_h.

Still repetitions on this map after the latest fix on page 1, but at preferred altitudes of sea level to 1000 acceptable. ;)

... many THX for this map, Tom, I'll have to try it since I was born in Casablanca, way back in the ancient times, and came to France when I was 9, but never saw a mill there though, unless my memory is betraying me, which it does, more often than not ...  :D

Here is a map of Casablanca in 1950, just in case ...  ;)

Just getting back to speed after some time away.

I d/l and installed this new version and it is stunning and beautiful with the new textures ... they look very different from other maps, but that makes them all the more fun to fly over.

Wonderful work.

Downloaded and installed the map in HSFX.  Game loads and map loads in the FMB, but won't save.  I assume I am missing objects.  My install has only the objects that came with HSFX and and the _tex and objects that came with  modded maps that I have installed;  I.e Marshall Islands etc.

What objects/ object packs will I need to download and install to make this map work in HSFX or any other modact version?  With the USS Ranger now available (already tested it successfully with stock maps) this is the perfect map for Operation Torch.

Did the original version of this map have stock objects and textures or did it have new objects and textures added to it as well.

Thanks.

What should I be looking for in the log?  I didn't see anything that I would recognize as an error message.

I can load the map in the FMB.  I can place ships and aircraft on the map.  I choose to save the mission.  When I try to exit the FMB I keep getting asked if I want to save the mission.  The only way I can exit the FMB is to select no when prompted to save the mission.

If you want me to post the log here, how do I do that?  The log is pretty lengthy (yes I deleted the content prior to launching the game so it would only have text from that session).

Thanks

Mailman, read here which part(s) from the log to post
and how to post it. (code option!)

When you want to post all lines of the logfile use pastebin, read here how to do this:

I had selected the # and saw it was code, but wasn't sure it was correct so I opted to ask how before using it.  Thank you for explaining it.  I will probably create a new log file and look for any "error" as was shown as an example tomorrow night.

Thanks again
