Nakajima B5N2 to B5N1

B5N2 to B5N1

A crude and simple adjustment to make a B5N2 in a B5N1, the B5N1 was used operationally since '37 in China in the early stages of WWII.

I used the slot (Multi) therefore you can use it in conjunction with the B5N2 choosing a different country from Japan.

I've always thought that was the most attractive version of the B5N series.  Well done.

New nose 3D: gio963tto.

B5N2 Model base and cockpits for 4.12 version: 1C Maddox and T.D. 4.12 extracted by Epervier for his 4.09 version.

Note:  4.12 version uses the new cockpits, 4.10 has the java using the DBW cockpits.

Classes for 4.10, 4.12 slots: Pete Shaw aka Mission_bug from SAS dumped classes.

Default skin: HAYATE.

Self Stationary Plane included:

Refer to each version readme for details.

Note 1:  The B5N2 cowl flaps have been hidden as they were not present on images I looked at.

Note 2:  In game markings do not work on the 4.12 version, I will update when I discover why.

Note 3:  Problems were encountered in the 4.12 java regarding levers so the entries were deactivated to allow the file to save which means certain cockpit items may not function, please report any bugs.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Hello, Gio! I was thinking to include this plane to my WIP plane pack of Pacific planes. That is so cool you have done it! I have ready Flightmodel for it and also I have practically done the B5N1-K, except the change of 3D of the engine. Also, as I read about it, none of the B5N1 didn't have the radiostation and, of course, the antenna at all. Can we, please, have a cooperation in making this mod +B5N1-K as standalone as soon as my pack does not exist yet? :)

Beautiful  as always gio. If I remember correctly Toho Co. Ltd. used the B5N1 in its filming of Hawai Mare oki Kaisen(The War at Sea from Hawaii to Malay) to represent the B5N2 during the films Pearl Harbor attack scene.

A screen shot from the film not sure what Kokutai the B5N1 in the screen shot is from though, but judging from the the white box around the fuselage Hinomaru it's from one of the home defense Kokutais based in Japan.

I havn't watched the movie "Hawai Mare oki Kaisen", but in wikipedia , the entry is written.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawai_Mare_oki_kaisen
and its Japanese entry shows interesting episodes in taking the film.
https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%8F%E3%83%AF%E3%82%A4%E3%83%BB%E3%83%9E%E3%83%AC%E3%83%BC%E6%B2%96%E6%B5%B7%E6%88%A6

The wikipedia entry says....
IJN hadn't lent real ships to the movie staff, so they used miniature models and full-scale Set constructions.
The screenshot WWII44 posted is looking like IJN Akagi CV, but it was the Set construction built on the ground, at Tateyama city, Chiba prefecture.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tateyama,_Chiba

IJN's Tateyama Naval Air Group (Tateyama kaigun kokutai)'s Tateyama Air base was also at the same city.
( That Air base is used as JMSDF Tateyama Air Base , today. -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JMSDF_Tateyama_Air_Base )
And Tateyama Naval Air Group lent B5N for the movie taking.
The tail letter marking of the B5N "Ta - 314" (Ta == Japanese Katakana letter) shows it belonged to Tateyama Naval Air Group.
And Tateyama Naval Air Group's carrier based aircrafts (B5N , A5M) were never operated by carriers.

I saw Hawai Mare oki Kaisen on youtube but it lacked English subtitles so i didn't understand most of it, I mainly watched it for the preal harbor attack scene and the destruction of force Z as the special effects was done by Eiji Tsuburaya, one of the co creators of the original Godzilla film. The special effects were pretty well done considering they were just simply hobby store models blown up with fire crackers.
