LVG-BI in own slot.
« on: July 05, 2015, 08:56:55 AM »

Hello guys, I now consider this finished so have moved it here to the WWI section to avoid the link getting lost in the WIP thread. ;)

Mediafire:

https://www.mediafire.com/?d7iy7fc1sxycp5v

Model:gio963tto.

Slot: Mission_bug from dumped classes 4.10 and cockpit classes SAS U-2 pack with additional entries from the TB-3 and PZL 11F to allow the controls to work.

Default skin: Stalker.

Cockpit parts: original 3D by gio963tto.

FM: From the U-2T of the SAS U-2 pack renamed but with no details altered.

Original classes IL-2 Sturmovik 1946: 1C Maddox games.

Tried in DBW 1916 and DBW 1.71 and TD 4.12 with SAS ModAct 5.30.

Cockpit controls movable:

You are intended to fly from the back seat although you can from the front but there are no controls there for you:

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Yeah! Superb! Thank you Pete!

I know that actor pilot in the screenshot. Looks familiar to me.
Could it be Ewan McGregor?
Cool actor... He would make a good WW1 pilot in a film!

This aircraft looks great. Nice details on it too.
I will painting a few more details on it and do some more textures for that cockpit.

This great project started by Mission_bug a long time ago, was limited to the BI version of unarmed reconnaissance of the large series of German observers and bombers made by LVG, remembering that the C IV version was the first fixed-wing aircraft to bomb London in November 1916. The C VI version had more than 1000 planes built for example. Let us hope with crossed fingers, that there will be a continuity in development at last. In any case, I am grateful to all modders for the work done so far on the simulator.

Cheers
