B-17 / B-24 Bomb Load Mod

I put together a simple mod to make the SAS MODACT /CUP B-17D-G and B-24J-100-CF bomb loads more varied and historically accurate (taking into account the bomb bay design etc.). I also did an expanded loadout for the excellent B-24D available in this thread: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,13455.144.html.

While I was in there I set up the B-17s to use 8 spawn points for the bombs instead of just two:

I tested this out, but if I missed something please let me know and I will do my best to fix...

I did some tests and everything works perfectly, but the problem occurs when I try to add this mod:

All weapons options are available, but when I try to select a missile GB1 I have something like this:

This issue only affects GB1, and after loading the mission all the B-17 are pink colored.
I have a one question:
During World War II, some of the B-17E have been modified and received the designation PB-1 Boeing

whether it would be possible add a Bat missile and radar to the armament of B-17E as an option for PB-1, without changing the 3D model?

Your english is fantastic!

I will take a look at this and see if I can add the BAT missles to the B-17E. I do not have 3D skills so if it is anything more than a classfile edit I will be unable.

Regarding the other mod by Dreamk, I think they are conflicting with each other...best to install and use only one of them at a time.

I am sorry to report that I updated my file and was not able to get the BAT bombs on the wings of the B-17E. I don't think there are places to mount them on the model, so someone would have to add them.

Friends -

I've updated this package (new link in first post). Long story short I capitalized "None" in the loadouts in the classfiles which I read 'might' cause problems. The new versions have it as "none" in the Java so if you have a problem you can download and install the new one. No other changes made.

I have made the wing pylons used by the B17E and B17F (even some B17G) - they are included (Meshes and java) in the folder !_AerialTorpedoesCods (look for the hashed file DB50606C873C1278 corresponding to PylonB17F.class and for the folder Pylon B17 in the 3Do/Arms subfolder)
They will suit the BAT bomb, as they have replicate the original model used on these planes.

As I already wrote in another thread, the BAT in Il2 is not a self-guiding gliding bomb but a kind of early missile: a "RocketBomb" - like the Razon which in Il2 is not a guided free falling bomb but also a "RocketBomb", (both, in my own private opinion, creating strange, not very realistic, ballistics effects - but it's not the present subject).
RocketBomb can be attached only to planes that implement the TypeX4Carrier in their java class.
In order to include the BAT among the ordnance of the B17E you must look at the java class of the F4UD (or the B24J or the B29 that carry the Razon) and include the relevant section in the java class of the B17E - it's not very complicated.
No problem of conflict with the GB-1 bomb is to be expected.
