I don't think the E13A carried torpedoes.  I doubt it could lift mines either.

Source: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aichi_E13A

E13A1 could carry only either four 60 kgs bombs or one 250 kgs bomb.

E13A1b (which entered into service presumably in 1945, since the E13A1a for sure became operational at the end of 1944) were fitted with a radar system for the detection of surface targets (specifically for the identification of naval units) while some aircraft were equipped with a system of detection of magnetic anomalies known by the name of "Jikitanchiki".

Some sources report that the use of E13A in the anti-submarine role was not particularly fruitful because the detection system used, the aforementioned "Jikitanchiki", proved especially complex for inexperienced pilots. According to the interrogation made after the end of the war by the Americans to commander of 901st air group stationed in Formosa(*), the detection apparatus had an efficacy of 150m per side at a height of 150 m, although the most experienced pilots were flying at 12-15 m from the surface. The schema type of detection provided 6 aircraft spaced apart by 300 m that flew in parallel in front of the convoy, and another aircraft equipped with radar 45 miles behind the last escorted ship; according to the Japanese, the results due to the use of these tactics and equipment, in itself very heavy enough to force to lighten the aircraft by removing unnecessary components and armor, was fruitful leading to a dozen sinkings, but according to the US, only in a certain case (USS Trigger (SS-237)) and two other possible the sinking could be traced to these reasons.

I have read that they carried depth charges. What I could do is have it come as historical but add an option of non historical loadouts as well. Just have a separate set of classfiles.

I have read that they also had a forward firing gun at a downward angel but not sure if you guys would want that.

Sounds excellent Bombsaway!  :)

The more loadout options, the more fun! You can simply add to the description of weapons, which were historical and which were not. That way people can decide how they want to fly.

And yes, an option for forward firing guns would be great! I can't wait to finally take control of this fine bird! Thank you very much  for working on this!  :)

I am interested to know whether this aircraft carried marker flares , smoke floats or paraflares.
Most histories of the Solomon Islands campaign refer frequently to IJN "foatplanes" dropping this ordnance , especially during nioght operations.
I'd love to hear anyone with specific information about this usage for the Jake ( and/or the Pete).

My computer died two days ago. It may just be the power supply. After I get it fixed I'll try to finish the flyable version. If anyone else wants to do it first please do so.

Looking forward to the flyable version when you are back up and running.  Looking forward to it since PF first came out actually...    :-[

My computer is still down. I have to use my phone or the public library. I can ask and see if a friend can help out. I'll let you know.

Tried to take off and land on a seaplane base, CUP, HSFX7 (autodiffFM), 4.10.

Jake take off but crash landing. The AI throw it on the ground/mountains or if an airfield is close choose the runway and lands, even if the seaplane base mark is selected for landing in FMB.

If no runways are around, crashes.

Any ideas?
