I've got everything working in 4096x2160, with everything turned to max detail and the frame rates are fine. My issue is I cannot read the icons and keep getting shot down too much. Please help!

No seriously, is there a way to increase the font size? Looked all through the config.ini and did not see anything there or the GUI.

You can mod the font sizes.
They're defined in ".font" files living in the "font" subfolder.
Please see the default ".font" files from UP3 attached as example.
Inside the ".font" files you will see lines with individual font sizes according to the x-dimension of the screen. The list ends at 2048, that's why on larger screens fonts stay relatively small.
You can add further resolutions to these files with appropriate font sizes and put them in your mods folder with the following structure:
<Your Mods Folder>\<Mod Name of your choice, e.g. LargeScreenFonts>\font\<font file>.font

Interesting! I use only HDR and that totally screwed up IL-2 FB for me - so I moved on to IL-2 BOX and wow!
