6DOF problem
« on: May 02, 2015, 03:01:48 PM »

Zooming/leaning forward in cockpit is very restricted. In Il-2-46 I could always lean forward and zoom so that the gunsight would fill my entire screen. This time I can't lean/zoom but a few inches forward inside the cockpit.  In other words the game is not translating my move forward correctly. I've checked my FreeTrack, it works correctly with other flight sims and in the FreeTrack test screen.
Any ideas?

Have you activated shift-F1?

Yes, still nothing. As I said, there is forward movement in the cockpit when I lean forward, but it's minimal, can't even get a close up on the cockpit instruments that are small.

From memory that is to do with the way TD implemented 6DOF (was it introduced in v4.11?). Prior to then, when you used the old 6DOF TIR mod you could lean in and almost have your nose touching the gun sight and instruments.
