YakPack : SAS's Complete Herd
« on: March 23, 2010, 05:28:34 PM »

This is a compilations of all new slot Yak's available in HSFX/UP and Nullwards, as well as here, with the exception of:
1) The Yak3KM from SAS
2) The 2 Yak 2seat Trainers , Also available in this forum (Under Utility Planes)

Add the planes you want to your air ini, leave those you dont want, out.
Plane and weapons ru entries, you can add the lot, as the game will ignore what you dont have in your air ini.
Guys from HSFX of UP may find one or two they dont have, and can add them if they realy want to. The NW_YAK_1Light and NW_YAK_1BEarly was not included in the UP20 ini because they are represented by other slots, but, you go decide for yourself if you want them.

I redirected the Yak7blate cockpit to use a stock cockpit folder, thus, it will use whatever custom textures cockpit repaint for your Yak9D you have, and, this pack is literally half the size it would have been as a result.

A quick overview of the air ini (contents of the pack):

Yak-1Light         air.NW_YAK_1Light 1                           r01   SUMMER
Yak-1BEarly        air.NW_YAK_1BEarly 1                          r01   SUMMER

Hi mate!

Nice mod!

I find a couple of missing plane!

I hope to don't bother but can I know which are the class file for each one of those?

Yak-1BEarly
Yak-3bsf
Yak-9U_NW

Thanks for your assistance!

Hi mates!

I have probably find a little error in the weapon_ru entry of those plane:

Yak-1BEarly        air.NW_YAK_1BEarly 1                          r01   SUMMER
Yak-1BEarly        Yak-1B Early Nullwars, 1942

#####################################################################
# Yak-1B Early, autumn 1942                                                                                                       (the correct entry shouldn't be Yak-1BEarly)
#####################################################################
Yak-1B_Early.default                           Default
Yak-1B_Early.2fab100                           2xFAB-100
Yak-1B_Early.none                              None

Yak-3bsf          air.YAK_3bsf 1                        NOINFO  r01   SUMMER
Yak-3bsf          Yak-3N, 1945

#####################################################################
# Yak-3naval                                                                                                                               (the correct entry shouldn't be Yak-3bsf)
#####################################################################
Yak-3bsf.default                       Default
Yak-3bsf.none                          Empty

I believe that otherwise the weapon list aren't correctly recognized and so can't be edited by the mod user!

BUT

Since I'm not a great expert and I can be in a big error I pray who is more skilled than me to confirm or not (so if I'm in error I can delete this post immediately)

cheers

No leave the post up, it may be educational for someone else.

the  name in the box (the box made by the ###### stuff) has no bearing on the entries at all. It is just there to make it all pretty for human viewers. You can write Yuka the Magic BottleRocket in there, wont make the slightest difference.

So, no errors there, luckily. :)
