... THX for your explanations regarding texture size Thierry, I should have opened them in my PhotoShop, then I'd have noticed there was an alpha layer, explaining the 24 bits ...  ;)

Btw- where do the folders go? Simply dropping them into my mod folder (sas) or should it go somewhere else?

You have to EDIT YOUR MAPS with the correct lines.

I realize that I have to edit the load.ini's of the map. The question is where to put the folder containing the textures for the load.ini

Open the downloaded folder TB_New_Skies_Textures/Skies textures/HighClouds and HighCloudsNoise and drop all the textures in the _Tex folder you have in your modded install (Modded Install/Mapmods/maps/_Tex/)
