F-18 Skinpack for fun

Just got the OK from "Texx" to post these 10 Skins . :-*

These "skins" are made just for fun and I do not claim main  credit at all, and they are semi ficticious not for the rivet counting purists etc. :P

Good or bad they still took me ages to do and are made by simply cutting and pasting bits from the net. Still usefull if you cant skin at all?

For newbies:
It always drives me mad, when Mod makers at any level don't include ANY instructions, So for all the Keen Newbies here a basic install instruction:

Go to your main il2 install folder find the skins folder: ie:"C:\il2 Sturmovik 1946_TFM\PaintSchemes\Skins" In there you should see all the folders for each plane you have and its skins. copy my skins and paste them into thir correct folders. simples.

If they dont show up in the game, check the Floder name. It has to be the same as the name in your main "Air.Ini" folder or at least the first bit of it ie: F-18D   or F-18C   

NOT :F-18C            air.F_18C 1                       NOINFO           usa01 SUMMER

Hope this Helps? It did me the first few times
Also These skins might need the HD mod but you already have it if you have the Superb F-18 mod working right

Please do not re post or use without original Authors permission

Hi Ed Yes, but today while triyng to download the white background remove tool i got the wrong site so now i have my google hijacked to bing with adds and pop ups and re directs nightmare. just as i discovered the switch to RGB button! So im wasting all afternoon on this still not fixed.  >:(

Do you know a clean link to the fix and the White background tool? :-[

p/s i cant tell if anyone likes them or even downloaded any? if i could just get to learn how to get those panel lines laid over my efforts i could post some nice and original stuff. :-X

If you want to have the panel lines on your skins, you need to have Photoshop and download the plane's template.
