Fantastic.
Real Balaklava Bay and no more those annoying Oleg's breakwaters in Sevastopol? And Danube delta and Constanca and Odessa...
It will be criminal not to include this map into the next BAT edition !
Its too early to talk about including in somewere :-[

Severny and Yuzhny should be swapped on that picture.

Balaklava... balyk lava...
Years, years ago, when "izdelie" (nuclear warheads) were brought in through the Severny, all area around was cordoned. If your barracks are in the southern part of the bay (most of submarines crews were housed there), you are out of luck. Go back to town and try to kill some time. The problem was that such operations were done always after the sunset and there was nothing to do in Balaklava at night unless you have a girlfriend there or you knew where to buy homemade booze. And if you feel adventurous and go through the hills (around the "submarine" mountain, west - southwest - south) - God bless you. Trigger happy sentries around the perimeter... One cadet was shot down in 1983 or 1984 when he accidentally crossed the barriers.

Guys, need your help.
I still don't know what happens with my house
after Khahovskaya hidroelectric dam blown.
Required hi res sattelite shot with the region of the city of Kherson. Cars must be seen good on it.
Preferably a shot are at least the week old.
If it's snapshot in realtime, better.

It's good to know you are alive. And regret if your house is in the affected area.
If it is on the right bank, I'd recommend requesting information from Kherson city or oblast authorities. Or from the local volunteer community.
Otherwise, commercial providers could help, for a price. Skyfi, Spymesat, etc.
Stay safe.

You can give a try here https://unosat.org/products/ click on the Ucraina map and then you can see that there are 19 products most of them concerning results of several damage assessments after the floods done by UN agencies the service is free of charge and you may find other interesting links.

Hope that everything will work out for you
