Thanks for coming back. Is there a patch update or would I need Linebacker and Musketeer too? Apologies if this is all a little nooby. I do have the Mega patch if that helps....

Hi,

If you are at Pathfinder level, you must install both Linebacker and Musketeer and in that order.

STEP 1 - Il2 4:12m - Install Il2 patched to 4:12m
STEP 2 - B.A.T. Install - Basic Install of B.A.T. Addon
STEP 3 - 3.0 Checkpoint Charlie - First Expansion Set
STEP 4 - 3.1 Operation Sealion - Second Expansion Set
STEP 5 - 3.2 Angels High - Third Expansion Set
STEP 6 - 3.3 Pathfinder  - Fourth Expansion Set
STEP 7 - 3.4 Linebacker  - Fifth Expansion Set (Installer use is MANDATORY for this pack)
STEP 8 - 3.5 Musketeer - Sixth Expansion Set

Hello, I have downloaded the v3.3 version of the Lancaster (after the 3.2 version didn't work, even with the classfiles and fix for the tallboy bomb installed), I can now finally see the pilot cockpit but the bombardier position is half black half cockpit, and when I move the rear gunner sometimes a black screen shows up. How can I fix this? I have 4.13.4m and modact 6.4

The black screen on rear gunner is due, i don't know why, the gunner is seeing to the body of airplane. I have the same problem, but if you move the mouse and rotate the turret you're going to get a clear view.

(but I will probably try and move the bombsight, it's currently inside the fuselage, half of its intended FoV is covered up. Also if you aim the rear gunner directly behind the plane, the screen goes black.)

sorry this is really a long ways away ago timewise but what mod precisely did you use in 4.13? I've gotten multiple versions and there seems to be great difficulty in getting this to work

this fixed half of it; there's still some more to fix (like the bomber position which is seemingly stuck at half black-screen... will try to make a more clear statement here as I experiment in 4.13.4

Can the Lanc be installed into Jetwar?  I am using BAT 4.2

I am trying and 60% crash.  Not sure what to do re DBW/UP.

bumping up an old thread because its the same plane...
i have BAT 4.0 installed, and in the installation guide it tells me to select the Lancaster in the QMB preview window to figure out which BATDLLS to use...but the problem is if i click the preview button for the Lancaster MKIII(the red button on the far right) it shows nothing, and when i clicked fly i was presented with the horizon with no planes...the Lancaster from 43 and the previous ones work, but the 42 variant doesnt show up....

my BAT 4.0 is installed on a fresh 4.12.2m and i havent installed any mods on it....

BAT 4.0 is not the lastest.
I can only encourage you to install BAT up to version 4.2.1+fix3!
