Tested in 4.12 on MTO, Crimea, Woodlark, Ifni3...no grass. :(

If the airport is done by a single plate (eg Slovakia) then indeed there is no grass.

Yoinks ! I've just seen this now  :-[

Very cool Rawners to add one of the most lacking scenic aspects missing in to the game.

Perfect for a current project.  ;D

I guess the base groundsmen are on R and R at the local town getting drunk and having a good 'ol time ha ha.

It does add a lot of realism  ;D :D ;)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I like the idea.  :)
I hope something can be done about the pop up effect which is very noticable.
And perhaps an idea to have the grass a bit more at random spreaded? Now the grass is a bit too much in straight lines parallel to the airstrip. For my feeling it has a bit the look of a kitchen garden at the moment.

I know what you mean but in game it looks like this:

We also have to take in consideration that lighting on objects is different than on landscape. Which makes grass sticks out a bit too much.
A problematic issue that still occurs in nowadays flight sims but in a less noticable way. I hope I will see the day that objects blend very well with surrounding landscapes in flight sims.
Nor COD, nor DCS, nor BoS, nor RoF tackles the issue. Not that I have one of these games, my opinions are based on screenshots and videos.  ;)

By the way, in the past I added a lot of grass on an airfield as a try out and noticed that with too much grass the pop up effect was horrible and plane exploded when taxiing through it.

Good for cockpit screenies though! :)

I also tried to place many bushes around Reno Stead Airfield in the Reno mod in one Quick mission (RedNone) and it works. The popup effect very much depends on the chosen bush as well. :P

I added this because it boosts immersion on the most important part of the game,
the airstrip, the thing where all things start. Thanks Master for this Mod

This would be perfect if two things happened:

Brushes triggered by airfield markings as per FMB. Atm many maps simply do not show the effect.

And, secondly, another bush/grass model, some from the FMB list have bigger popup distance and "only" sport the weird lighting part. Those spread over a wider area....that would rock.

I gladly research which brushes have the longest visibly distance ingame.
