this mod was provided by PA_Jeronimo on my annoying request.
Readme:
This is a 3D mesh fix by our respected mate PA_Jeronimo.
In essence, it improves the look of the already cool TD 4.12 pit VERY much.
Only for the front aka panel part after I had requested the fix which Jeronimo so kindly made (for the entire canopy, front and gunsight section) I found the default panel mesh is slightly more realistic, albeit not as smooth.
A matter of taste, default in this mod is the new shape, backup the old.
This mod works as standalone in 4.12 and includes a front panel modified by Jeronimo and me and based on one of JAMF's panels from his "Cockpit_P-38J_HR" mod from his "P-38J_v1_3".
If in doubt, deactivate that tga with a "-" in front. Since I was not sure on the copyright of that pic I hereby assign a 2nd panel as option, made by me on top of the 4.12 front panel and pics altered and used 100% to my best knowledge.
The "!_P-38J_Cockpit_Fix" folder goes into your 4.12 modded game's #SAS or Mods folder.

If there is ever any doubt about panels, pm me or an SAS admin and we replace them, original included (in case anyone wants it that way), ones made based on the original 4.12 ones are 110%= with NO copyright on the pic used Hand
edited them EXACTLY as per site's demands, nothing more was required.
I take it the other is also ok and free to use.
