A real shame cause is a really cool looking aircraft. As you say, maybe in the future.

I was going crazy with a 60% crash......
... until I realized I hadn't added the aircraft's mod folder, only the air.ini entries. Facepalm.

Will test shortly. Many thanks!!!

Unfortunately, for this model, there are no chances here. :(
It remains to hope that someone will make a real Potez 63.11.  ;)
There was a 63.11 model made for Combat Flight Simulator III

I think I remember seeing a post either here or on some other IL-2 site about converting models from CFS3 to IL-2 (though my memory may be wrong). Is that possible?

It would take a lot of work to make new FMs and all, though.

It's too bad the 63.11 is not as yet modded as it represents more than 75% of ALL Potez 630 Series aircraft actually
produced (866 built).
The 631 was the first large scale production ( 202 produced per one source) , and the 633 was the primary foreign sale (with ~70 produced) , being sold to Greece and Romania.

These are lovely aircraft.
I have 2 comments for future consideration :

1) Throttles in French aircraft should be reverse to those from most other nations (at least in WW2 - and I believe the Potez 630 family should be included in this - correct me if I am in error) ; the throttle motion should be away from the instrument panel to accelerate (more power) , towards the panel to decelerate (less power). This is not modelled correctly.

2) There is a residue of the photoshop work around the import of the reticle glass in the new Potezs.
The windscreen could be tidied up a little.

Again these are lovely and needed aircraft , and I will fly them happily. Perhaps down the road these small details can be attended.

Sincerely,

How did I miss this airplane?  :o
I was looking for the Potez 633B2 to go along with the new He-112 and the search brought me to this Frankenplane discussion!  I saw an old request post I had made for this plane back in 2012!  Finally I have it  8) Thank you very much!

Guys, If some modder wants seriously to take the task, I have a 63-11 already exported but have my hands really full presently - so if someone wants to build the hier him and add to it the cockpit of the current plane (or still better made a dedicated cockpit) send me a PM and let see how we can go ahead with that.

Just a quiet *bump* here. Is there any modder around, with spare time that can take up DreamK's nice offer?

I have 63xx Potez in the oven.
But it's still too early to introduce them to you!
They're still too young!

But, Dear Champion of 409, we LOVE them young, and promise to be oh so gentle!
Just kidding, but it IS great news of forthcoming treats! Thank you for all you've already done! Merci!!!!
