Hallo

Some time ago I experimented with this plane: Its not completely historical

In reality there were plans for bomb armed Ju-88G1 Destroyers. But the need for nighfighters caused that this version was newer built.
The Atlantikzerstörer Ju-88H2 in principle was a stretched Ju-88G with 2 additional 2 cm MK in the right nose. It should attack antisubmarine planes far over the Atlantik. It was canceled after some planes because the handling was clumsy or a fighter plane. From the Ju-88H1  (recon) there were some more.
In my little experiment You have the Weapons of the H2 and  BIG droptanks.

Anyway after Sputnickshock gave me his permission I modified his plane to have a counterpart of all the Beaufighter and Mosquito we already had in the game

Unfortunately I was not abe to create a new slot    so it will replace the Sputnickshocks Ju-88G6 NJ   if You have instelled it.

New Version with flight model and 3dfixes from last Ju-88G6 version

Hallo

You need only to give the classfile of this plane another name !  I already made the classwork for the loadout.    I dont know why I cant clone this slot  (for my Beaufighters and a-20s I could do it

I can only modify the existing slot.

If I gave the plane another name it did not appear in the plane list of the game.

I would be happy If You could create a  "Ju-88G1 Stechmücke" Slot for this plane !!!

Ok, between CWatson and I and his far more advanced skills than mine, we have this bird in its own slot. The cockpit classes needed to be renamed to get the plane to work.  That may be why Doc was having trouble.

It really needs a new default skin because the one it comes with has markings on it and the AI will show both the default skin markings and the game generated ones. Other skins dont look very good because the mapping is not the same as other 88's.

The stationary is included with its new entries.

I made this using 4.12 so please report any issues in other versions of the game as well as any issues in 4.12

The reason was the cockpits. Just as planes reference what cockpit they use in the plane's classfile, some cockpits will reference the plane they are attached to in their classfile and that was the case here.

Since the cockpits referenced the G-6 and this was no longer a G-6 there of course was a issue.

As I explained to Bombsaway, if a is plane showing in the QMB but not loading in mission or having a blue screen you can narrow your trouble down  by removing the cockpit reference line in the plane's classfile. This creates a AI only version. If it then loads in a mission as enemy or additional ally flight it confirms the trouble is cockpit related. Then one cockpit class can be modified and added at a time.

i'll post up a reworked skin that i did for this when i first discovered it hiding in a dark corner of my HDD, at some point today

Mark, just a little fyi note - the skin folder that is provided with your download is incorrectly named, so if guy simply drag it into their skins folder, they won't see any skins.
it should be: Ju-88G1-Stechmucke  and not Ju-88G1 Stechmucke
