Question for everybody: Do you want to cancel this bridge? It is non-historical, but it is default...



I say: delete it. Its not historically.  :)

But, if this bridge gets removed, will it break missions and campaigns that might use it?

Are there any campaigns/missions that use the bridge?

I vote for removing it, as if it had existed in RL it would have been destroyed early in the battle by one side or the other.

I really appreciate that Cyberolas has always made his maps compatible with the stock maps. They work without any problem in every version of the game. It's no problem to have 2 maps though - a stock one with the bridge if something breaks, and one without the bridge. So I vote get rid of the bridge.

I put together a small package with an autumn version of the map, reworked dgen campaign templates and updated QMBPRo missions for 3 seasons. Everything is made to fit with the RRR versions.  Enjoy! :)

@vpmedia, I want to give it a try but these files are not included:

ColorMap  = s_map_c.tga
HeightMap = s_map_h.tga
SmallMap  = s_map_M.tga
TypeMap   = s_map_T.tga
FarMap    = s_map_F_S.tga
ReflMap   = s_map_R.tga

And the Clouds256.tga is included in your d/l but not needed according the load.ini.

EDIT:
by deleting every  's_' in front of each entry the autumn map shows up.  :)
(But don't know if missing s_map_c.tga etc. are exactly the same as Cyberolas his map_c.tga)


Something else: for those who have installed my high resolution trees (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,40379.0.html) change in the aload.ini:
 Tree0 = land/Oks/OksAlteredBush8a.tga into Tree0 = Trees/Gaut-AlteredBush8a.tga

I doubt if any mission/campaign can use that bridge on default map, becauase it is didconnected from highway there:

Road is connected to bridge in Cyberolas version of Stalingrad. So it won't affect missions/campaigns.

Youre welcome, mate. I'm still testing and adjusting the dgen campaign templates so there will be an update sometime in the future, ideas & suggestions are welcomed.

Tested in my maps consolidation mod in a 409 installation and got the autumn version working flawless....

Thanks for this new season of a great Cyberolas work!
