i'm experiencing this same crash, as reported by cgagan.
after testing it in FMB, it's evident this crash happens once the AA starts firing.
fly a mission and fly over a friendly train, you'll see it should be fine.
so, something about the AA firing is causing the crash

Tested in a simple FMB mission. Run the German trains in the mission, no probs. Run the Russian trains, game runs for a few secs, freezes, then CTD.

I have installed WCats previous "New Train Mod"  versions and had no problems. (And have deleted those versions before the latest).

Confirm what Malone has posted; just flew the same mission with a friendly moving ammunition-AA train and no CTD...

UPDATE version-1.1 (big thanks Epervier)
- added platform with tanks Turan.I
- added trains-light and others Steam left/right (Java classes and effects by Epervier (According to the idea and realization of the Lokomotive light Mod by Stuka40))
     - Between 19h (7pm) and 06h (6am) = lights ON
     - If enemy aircraft near = lights OFF

Epervier, I think you may have fixed it!! Initial testing - no CTD with AA firing/ Russian train/enemy plane.
