[This collection was lost when the site went down a few years ago, now I uploaded the entire material from my own archives because these skins are amazing and should be used. I plan to upload more lost skin collections in the future such as works of Tchaika and Hammerd]

Great! I remember Greg Boyington from way back in the days. An excellent artist.
I have some of his skins in my collection and enjoy looking at all the little details he painted. A real work
of art for a skin!
Thanks for the post VPmedia, I will check to see which I may be missing from my collection.

It is fine art such has these skins that make the IL2-1946//IL2+Mods look much better than most flight-sims out there.

Now that you remind me - we need a 'Skin Collection - Max the hitman' topic too.
People can access your ww2/jet stuff since that m4t trolling event.

Well VP,

So you are an historian as well as an artist. This is great of you to do. These are magnificent skins , and deserve to be flown.

Congratulations, and I look forward greatly to your next archiving project as well as your own skinning ones.

Sincerely ,

Kopfdorfer

Thank you, I never did get round to collecting all of his great skins, always thought they where amazing works of art.
So many skin artists have gone, as mentioned it would be marvellous to see more of Max's ,miss seeing his skin input these days.

Thank you very much. I love his work. I was sad when I went there some time ago only to find the site gone..

Sorry to hear about your friend Max. I would love to have the skins you made and in honor of your friend. My respects to his family.

That would be marvellous Max.
Always like the fact that you skinned more esoteric planes that other skinners could not be bothered with. 8)

Very Nice.  8)

IF for some reason you think you might have missed downloading some of his skins you can try the Internet Archive.
Before I found this thread any skins of his I wanted to get I had been getting at the Internet Archive since the links I have tried were saved in their archives.

Even though some of the images are not showing the last time I checked all of Hammered Skins were still available at the Internet Archive too.

Tchaika didn't do as well.
