Nice Jupp, here is from a known man, MK MrX , in this you see a pretty advanced damage model in the end, after he shot down everybody, witch isn't difficult in a 109. It is shown in slow-motion, whatever anyone means about this game , when the wing tears off it is pretty damn nice to see

That animation for the wing tear off looks very cool, as do the in-air explosions!
They do need to download and implemenent the tracer mod from here however.  ;-)
Just kidding; the product is not finished yet and already looks promising, but only one map and a handfull of planes ain't gonna make me leave good old Il2 yet.. And as i don't have time to play 2 flight sims I am anxiously awaiting news about more maps, modding possibilities or other goodies that might change my mind.  :-)

I noticed another thing, I think old IL 2 is to kind on crash-landings , and in BOS the landing is very brutal. Kind of deep snow fast stop. But that said the rest of the crash looks more like you dropped some attached Lego bricks on the flor. Too much bouncing and the wings drop off like lego.
The fire is good animated and shaped but something is wrong about transparency and color.

But as you say it is early
