Nice work Poltava! Flying those Bf109bs in Spain was quite the shock - 2x 7.6mm and that's it?? lol

Oddly I add turn off my special effects because the game was crashing to disk with it on. Bit wierd since I've run missions with 24 planes a side, bombers, flak and warships with no problems.

I am using the HSFX 7.0.1 and the first mission was great. In the second one my planes blows up right away. How can I fix that? :)

Hmm, it probably means that it means it won't work on HSFX. Sounds like a typical clash of mods, I'm afraid...  :-\

The problem with DBW is that it got stuck in the 4.10 version and the HSFX is at the present day version. It's just an opinion. But that's the reason why I use the HSFX for most of my flying. :) this makes a big difference. The 4.10 is so obsolete right now. Isn't it?

No. I don't agree. HSFX is great. (And so is 4.12.2.) But I appreciate the much bigger number of aircraft and maps in DBW. That makes DBW much more fun to build campaigns for. The versatility is quite simply that much bigger. DBW is also aimed on off-liners (like me) while HSFX caters primarily for on-liners - and does an excellent job at that.

And I also think you are wrong to assume that DBW is "stuck" at 4.10. See here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,38549.msg428228/boardseen.html#new

I am glad to hear that DBW is moving along. I used to have it until it didn't keep up with the official patches. I even tried my own campaign with DBW: Training to get your wings: Luftwaffe.  http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=1463

I got maps of Bayern, etc. hehe but please don't say anything. You are the reference in campaign building and mine was a bone to big for me to chew ...

Let's see what happens next. Blending DBW and HSFX sound awesome.

Hi Poltava,
               love the campaign.  It's very absorbing and enjoyable.  On Mission France-6 my plane blows up at start of mission.  Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?  Everything is perfect up to this point.

No, I don't. Blowing up often means a clash a mods. An old trick that might work: open the mission in FMB, then just save it (without making any changes). Then have another go.
