Nice !
I wish that there will also be cameras attached to ground vehicles , and small ships .
But talking about ground vehicles, it would be even better if there was a mod that make the wheels to rotate first!

Will be in 4.14 then, half of it put into native DLLs and the other half spilled across all packages ;)

Yea, gotta be a nightmare for these hard working mod folks, many are still trying to catch up with 4.12.

Today, I wished we had the watch your Bombs to impact, I got a shack on 2 Tanks with a 1000#er from 1200 Ft. in a P-40K, that would have been a cool screenie. Cant wait to have this Mod in IL2 :D

Too much patches for me!

I love such upgrade but only if they don't make me reinstall all again!

I'm not even at the half of installing all planes in the new 4122....don't speak about maps and all objects (static and dinamic)....that start again with another game version 'll give me suddenly a nightmare!!!!

Without knowing the communications between TD and the mod community - can some sort of coordination be done?

Assuming that TD is not completely ignoring the excellent work done by the different mod teams, and that the mod communities also enjoy the 'foundation upgrade' done by TD.  Is there some way the teams can coordinate work together to facilitate both official patches and mod development?  At least some informal channel letting each other know which areas of the core engine TD is working on, beyond the official update?

The above was purely from an outside in perspective in terms of mod development, of course.

Cheers,

ben, i'd rather we not go down that path of discussion here.
suffice to say that we would be most happy if there was such a sort of communication/cooperation, but it seems TD prefers to work behind closed doors, and that is their prerogative, i guess....
remember, we are still considered by some to be the bringers of doom 'n destruction to IL-2 modding....
but....let's leave that discussion for another time and place, and for now just focus on the good things that may come from the future updates... ;)

Malone,

With all the good work done by the different modding communities I certainly hope that we are way past this stage already ...

Back to future updates - what I would love to see in 4.13 or other update are:

- the New Guinea/New Britain Map
- the new P-40s (a P-40N would be great)
- some form of radar implementation - be it for night-fighting or air-to-ground/sea

Cheers,
