Westland Lysander my first aircraft project with gmax.
« on: November 17, 2013, 10:43:00 AM »

Hello all, as you are probably aware by now we finally have a Westland Lysander available for IL-2 thanks to DM,Beowolff and Ton. 8)

This is a project I have also been working on behind the scenes so I thought I would share with you some of the images I posted in that thread.

By necessity I have had to use gmax rather than 3dmax, sadly gmax has quite a few limitations, none the less I carried on and worked around those as best as I could. ;)

My first go. :P

A lot of the model was subsequently built, scrapped and made again.

I thought it was long overdue being shown to the masses Eugene, this is really just a photo montage without all the writing just to show the folks out here what has been happening. ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Great work Pete - nice progress. Always good to have another modeller creating cool stuff. Also good to see some of hard work that goes behind this process, for us plebs  ;)

Hello ggrewe, glad you like what I have posted. 8)

This has been quite an experience as I have had to learn as I went along, thankfully there are a lot of extremely talented and generous folks here who helped me through this particular ordeal, without their help and encouragement it would not have come so far. ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D
