that certainly does help, mate - lol, this is stuff i should've been aware of beforehand, but i got so carried away with the excitement of the moment, and forgot.
strangely (or just dumb luck-ery) i managed to take off from the runway with gears up, even though it was a bit hairy, i did it, lol!  :D
