Any chance on on giving these beauties the increased roll rate that the new wing with 5% larger metal covered ailerons aforded them?

I have managed to find the tactical trial of the Spitfire 21, in which it states that rolling performace was improved compared to earlier spitfires. It also says that the outboard and inboard cannons could be fired independently of each other. Quote "The cannon are fired pneumatically by means of a selective push button on the control column spade grip. Pressing the top of the button fires the inboard cannon, pressing the bottom fires the outboard cannon, and all four cannon are fired simultaniously if the centre button is pressed.

If you want to read the Trial type "Spitfire 21 trial" into google, then click on the link headed "The Story of the Spitfire. An Operational and Combat History". Its at books.google.co.uk/books :)

There is a chance, but we do have real lives outside of Il-2 and currently none of us are free to fix this. We got the message, we thank you for the evidence, now off our case.

So please be patient, cheers

Small critique in regards to the aircraft's 3d model. The nose seems a bit stubby in comparison to the real aircraft and the prop shaft also seems a bit rotund. Also of note is that the prop blades are angled the wrong way. Is there a way for me to fix this myself without butchering it, for example somehow welding GJE 52's FR XIV nose to it, via the .hier?
Otherwise the rest of the model is near spot on.

The Mk.22 runs wonderful in my 4.10 & DBW!

Thank you.

An observation on the Mk.22 which is primarily the only one of these i fly. I was defeated by a pesky Buchon, and upon the elevator controls being severed, followed immediately by catastrophic air-frame failure, the canopy unlocked and rolled back on its own! I imagine this is a feature to increase survive-ability in emergencies. Is this a feature of the real aircraft? Simple curiosity.

Thanks! Still one of my favorite Spits next to the Mk.I/IIs

I had a similar event happen to me. In fact my pilot automatically bails out if I take heavy damage. It's a little annoying actually.
