Thanks Loku, I remember reading about them at primary school in the 1970s. Didn't quite a few of them crash and burn?

cheers

LOKU, THANX for this extremely dangerous aircraft:

Fly!:
The R-1 was a circuit racer and the R-2 had more fuel for cross-country racing.

P.S. Sorry, can't install it on 4.10 + DBW 1.71 version - CTD 60% (sometimes 70% ???). Any help, please....
Has anybody got it working in DBW 1.71?

Solved, and GeeBee is flying in my DBW 1.71 at last!!!

I suppose that there is a small mistake in instruction ad. DiffFm FM file for two versions of the game:
DiffFm  file "-GeeBee" this one is for 4.10, delete file for 4.12 and rename to "GeeBee"
DiffFm  file "GeeBee" this one is for 4.12, delete file for 4.10

I suppose should be:
DiffFm  file "-GeeBee" this one is for 4.12, delete file for 4.10 and rename to "GeeBee"
DiffFm  file "GeeBee" this one is for 4.10, delete file for 4.12

Or DBW 1.71 uses 4.12 DiffFm FM file (and is crashing with 4.10 DiffFm FM file)???

BTW, plane is excellent (fast and dangerous, as it really was, 3D is beautiful). Was it really using constant speed propeller?

Just a thought,

How manuverable is the GeeBee? Was looking at her design and she looks very much along the lines of German Point defense fighters. High powered high speed interceptors.

Was just thinking would the U.S. convert a GeeBee to such say if in 1946 Germany began to invade.
Utilizing a high speed overpowerd airframe to zoom and boom on incoming bombers.

Just thinking outloud here. but any thoughts?

Here's a concept along the same lines of thought:
