IAR 80/81 a & c
« on: July 17, 2013, 09:01:18 AM »

I have flow just about every plane in the game, but the FM for the IAR 80/81 is heinous, the Fokker DXXI is even better,
I would think that the IAR 80/81 would share some characteristics with the P-36 & P-40 Hawk, Aircraft historians claim the IAR 80 when it first flew, in 1939, it was comparable to contemporary designs such as the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E, the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.I, and the American Curtiss P-40B/Tomahawk Mk.I and superior to the Dutch Fokker D.XXI and Polish PZL P.24, when in fact the FM for the IAR 80/81 in IL2 render's it very inferior to all those exact aircraft.

The FM of the IAr 80/81 is indeed crazy - there was a full discussion on it about 18 months ago https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,21415.msg233980.html#msg233980
George1991 began to work of an FM and I tried to help him and we suceeded to get all the original info needed but....RL took over for both of us....It's worth asking him  if he advanced with that

If someone of you decide to work on this plane's FM please add the option to trim the aileron, I know that the plane didn't had this option in reality but it could be very useful in the game because the plane tends to spin pretty bad :/

Is that fixed? Has the CUP the new FM?

2 will (kind of) work only with 1 it has many compatibility issues with many mods.

3 will work with 4 (combined) but it can also work with 1 (as separate mods in the same instance)

In my opinnion just use 3 with 4 (best historical accurate) and you can have 1 too for fun.

The reskinned and reanimated cokpits are amazing and the 3d overhauld is gorgeus and better than josses mod.

With DBW i tried to combine all of them as much as I could,

but my question is if you have tried them in CUP, and if you did, how do you jugde the Flight model.

Thanks, if you read the posts, I complained back then about the duplicate files.  I think the problem is resolved now.
