In 1935, ?SA (Czechoslovakian air lines) was looking for a new, twin-engined aircraft, with a range of 900 km (559,234 mi) for 8 passangers. The company Aero responded to the prototype designated as A-204. During the tests have proven the quality of aircraft, but Airspeed pribed serval importatnt people in ?SA and pushed through the purchase of type Airspeed Envoy. The prototype was finally purchased by the army. Czechoslovak air force ordered 19 machines intended for training and reconnaissance. The aircraft has been delivered by the end of 1938. After March 1939 Luftwaffe used these machines in Prost?jov for crew training. In 1941, several A-304 were sold to Bulgaria, where they were used for maritime patrol and transport.

I personally think this is a very nice aircraft! Sleek lines and nice shape. I would fly it.

The "strip of windows" on the side of the fuselage reminds him a lot. But Aero is nicer... ;)

Seems like quite the nice sister aircraft to the Avro Anson. Also, by what you described, it seems very reliable and the pictures show many different markings.  ;)
